Tribute to Peter McNally, 1967 - 2026

My wee brother, Peter was the coolest and best dressed of the three of us! He was the bravest and most stoic person I ever knew. Thank you for the time we shared. Until we meet again, I would walk 500 miles.

Missing you already ,always will. You were Such a great friend , just wish we had a wee bit more time together sharing laughs and story's.

Pete was a loving husband a fantastic father to his kids and great father in law, if I had any issues he always had his advice, I am happy that I couldn’t of asked for a better father in law till we meet again.

It was a real pleasure to have Pete as my brother-in-law. I’ve known him since he was a teenager and watched him grow into a wonderful family man who adored his three children with all his heart. Pete was quiet, dependable, confident, and had a heart of gold. At family parties, you’d always find him in the kitchen—his favourite place. His motto? “The best parties are in the kitchen,” surrounded by a few people chatting and laughing together. His generosity was endless. If you were his guest, he’d never let you pay—he’d beat you to it every time, often turning it into a playful race. That was just Pete. Thank you for being my lovely brother-in-law. You’ll be deeply missed. I salute you. Rest in peace, Peter.

Peter was a great man, he wasn’t just my father-in-law. He became someone I looked up to, someone who felt like a second dad. Peter welcomed me into his family and, most importantly, trusted me to marry his daughter. I will always be grateful for his support, it meant more to me than I can properly express. I will miss him greatly.

I loved my dad more than words can ever truly say, and I will miss him more than I can express. He meant so much to me, and losing him has left a space in my heart that can never be filled. I will forever treasure the memories we shared - the laughter, the conversations, and the simple moments that meant everything. He will always be with me in my heart, and I will carry his love with me for the rest of my life.
